What you supply

Revisions and timing

A revision round is one combined list of changes. Two rounds are included; more can be quoted. Your launch date goes in the written scope. The clock starts once the scope is agreed and we have your content, and it depends mostly on how quickly content and feedback arrive.

Running costs, paid directly

• Your domain registration and renewals, in your name
• Hosting. With Handoff it sits in your own account, on a free plan where one fits; any paid plan is quoted first. With Manage it’s part of care.
• Paid tools you choose, like a booking or ordering service

Every cost is listed for your approval before anything is set up. We don’t mark them up.

Ownership and handoff

Your domain and content are always yours. With Build & Handoff, the site runs in accounts you control, and you get the source code, repository access, verified logins and a short guide to managing it.

The site is custom-built, so there’s no drag-and-drop editor. Everyday details live in one plain content file you can change in GitHub’s web editor; anything bigger, ask us.

The 14 days after handoff

With Build & Handoff, we fix defects in what we delivered for 14 days: anything that doesn’t work as agreed. New features, redesigns and later content changes aren’t defects and are quoted separately.

What care includes

• Hosting on our account, with security and software updates
• A monthly test that your contact form still delivers
• Fixing anything we built that stops working
• A small monthly allowance for minor content updates, like hours, prices or a photo swap

The hosting platform provides the secure connection (SSL), the global network and uptime. Our part is the work above. Care doesn’t include redesigns, new pages or features, writing new content from scratch, search campaigns, domain renewals or third-party subscriptions.

If you cancel care

Cancel any time; care ends at the close of the paid month. We move the site to hosting you own, repoint your domain and confirm the form still works. From then on, any hosting or service charges are billed to you by those providers.
