No. 14 Harbor Street

Buns from seven. Soup by eleven. Late on Fridays.

A small bakery-café by the water. Everything’s baked in the morning, the soup changes with the market, and the filter coffee comes with a free refill.

Shaped by hand, before the harbor wakes up.

The dough is mixed the afternoon before and rests overnight. At five, every knot is rolled, twisted and tied by hand, so no two look quite the same. When they’re gone, they’re gone.

The room

Twenty seats, a long window counter facing the water, and a bench outside where dogs are welcome. Laptops are fine until the lunch rush.

A 22-second loop: the espresso machine, cups on saucers, a quiet murmur, the door bell once and gulls outside. No music, no speech. Generated audio.
